I decided to withdraw my children from this school after repeatedly experiencing that important matters were not being communicated. The communication is severely lacking, causing confusion and frustration. Despite raising the issue several times, the situation only worsened.

The physical condition of the school is also concerning: broken tiles in areas where younger children walk, creating a tripping hazard. Furthermore, the hygiene is inadequate; the school seems primarily focused on cost-cutting, without regard for the basic needs of the children.

After three terms, the situation changed drastically, revealing the true nature of the school. The staff is sparse, and when a teacher is sick, children are simply placed in another class. This in itself is not an issue, but the quality of education and support suffers as a result. There seems to be a lot of inexperienced teachers, likely a cost-saving measure by the school, but this undermines the quality of education.

There are very few, if any, field trips organized, aside from an occasional visit to a petting zoo, which limits the educational experience and makes it uninspiring. The school seems focused mainly on keeping costs as low as possible, without investing in the development of the students.

Additionally, the organization of outdoor play is chaotic. There is minimal supervision, leading to a disorganized situation where children of different ages play together without proper guidance.

The online reviews are outdated and no longer reflect the current situation. The staff has changed, and unfortunately, the quality has not improved. My experience with this school has been very disappointing, and I would advise parents to avoid it.

Da Vinci International School Antwerpen – All About Money, Not Quality

As a parent of a young child, you expect a school to provide a safe, caring, and professional environment. Unfortunately, based on my experiences with Da Vinci International School Antwerpen, I cannot help but warn other parents. What appears to be a top institution on paper falls far short in practice.

False Advertising
The photos on the website portray an appealing image, but they are misleading. The people in these photos are often not the actual teachers in the classroom. Even a secretary is depicted as if she is teaching, while the real teachers are hired as cheaply as possible, with little experience and minimal costs for the school. Parents pay an enormous fee but do not receive the promised quality in return.

As a parent of a young child, you expect a school to deliver on promises of safety, care, and quality education. Unfortunately, my experience with Da Vinci International School Antwerpen reveals that it is mostly about marketing, empty promises, and money, while the reality is far below expectations.

К сожалению, основываясь на моем опыте с Международной школой Да Винчи в Антверпене, я не могу не предупредить других родителей. То, что на бумаге выглядит как ведущий институт, на практике оказалось совершенно иным.

2. Обманчивая реклама
Фотографии на сайте создают привлекательный образ школы, но они вводят в заблуждение. Люди на этих фотографиях часто не являются реальными учителями в классе. Даже секретарь изображена как преподаватель, в то время как настоящие учителя нанимаются за минимальную плату и с небольшим опытом. Родители платят огромную сумму, но не получают обещанного качества.

I went to da Vinci in 2000, they put me back a grade wich was ridiculous. My teacher miss Liz wasn't very bright I remember asking her in twelve hundred was one thousand and two hundred and she said no. The gym teacher mr yo was a push over I convinced the class to make forts with the Matt's n jumping off the balcony onto the Matt's for weeks until the principle Mr Mike and other teachers set us down and said we have respect our teacher and do whay he says and we did after that.

The only good part was some friends and the cool creepy attic we snuck into during school events with the older kids on the very right of the school all the way up.

I'm surprised I haven't seen any reviews from students just parents saying there kids had great experience and achieved learning experience and language barrier learning.

I hope this helps people think before they send there kids there.

We just loved the school. My kids were in the school from kindergarten till grade 3 (till we moved out of the country), and they just loved going to the school each day. Curriculum, as well as the teachers are excellent. It’s a gem in the heart of Antwerp. There’s surely no need to travel farther for international schooling.
Thanks to Da Vinci, my kids had absolutely no issues in adjusting to the new environment in the US. The teachers had prepared them very well for it.

Our Children had a fantastic experience in DaVinci! The, staff teachers and parents are very welcoming. I don't understand the last comment the children had theater, art music and creative field trips. Our children were way ahead when we moved to Ireland and then back to the US. They learned skills they will use the rest of their lives. Great School!

The staff and teachers really care about the students and foster a great community. Everyone is very caring and friendly. The education has exceeded our expectations. The teachers push the kids to challenge themselves. Important thing is our kid is actually learning here and loves the staff/teachers too.

When my boys arrived in Antwerp they did not speak English. Da Vinci International school could adapt their schedule and provide enough hours in English to enable them to follow the program within a year. The teachers and staff are very devoted. This school is going to be their bridge to a bright international futur
