As I saw a very few reviews, i decided to give my input, hoping it will help you to feel confident on the stressful exam day 🙂
I took the IELTS test here in December 2024. It was actually a very pleasant experience.
1) Location: a bit far from everywhere, but you can reach it by car or public transportation. I came by bus 282 (there are Vilvolde, Diegem, Mechelen on the route). IP Campus is located in Madissob building of a Twin Squares compound. You wont be lost - just follow signs.
The building itself is nice and new. There are lockers for test-takers, bathroom, sitting area. Please be aware that there is no food around (you need to go to Park Inn hotel or gas station nearby. No vendor machine either.
2) Test day: a first quick check of your registration email & ID/Passport happens in the foyer (ground floor). Then you to 2nd floor and wait for a second part of registration process. Test room was simple and quite, i was not bothered by anything. The equipment worked well.
3) Team: all the employees were extremely polite and helpful. 3-4 people were managing the process quite smooth. Instuctions were clear and precise.

To sum up, it was probably my best IELTS experience so far. A little piece of advice - do the speaking part before the main one. As well, considering remote location, i would advice to o a test in the afternoon.

Ik heb hier mijn IELTS afgelegd. Na het lezen van de reviews was ik een beetje huiverig voor de staat van het gebouw, maar het viel wel mee. Het is soort van modern. Het is wel een gedoe om er te komen met het OV (je moet naar Diegem met de trein, en daarna 15 minuten lopen). Het is er tenminste schoon.

De afname van de toets is ongelooflijk streng. Er zijn kluisjes om al je spullen in te stoppen want je mag NIKS meenemen tijdens je examen. Alleen een flesje water (doorzichtig, zonder etiket) en je paspoort. Ze geven je zelf kladblaadjes en pennen en die nemen ze daarna weer in. Voor elke toets wordt er eerst een foto van je gemaakt zodat ze zeker weten dat je niet fraudeert. Nadat de foto is gemaakt mag je ook niet meer je telefoon bij je hebben.

De stoelen zijn oncomfortabel en ze schenken je geen koffie of thee. Neem dus zelf wat te eten mee, en eet alles op voordat je de IELTS gaat maken.

a total surreal experience:
you ring at the door, noone opens, you need to slip in with someone else.
you arrive at the office, noone at the receptio ndesk, after 5 minutes a lady walks by and says "sit down there" without asking what you are there for.
during the 4 hours I sent there: that lady was all alone, responsible for :
registering arrivals (3 minutes per person), setting up the pc's (10 minutes per person?), taking care of people who have finished (1 minute per person), checking that candidates don't have spy materials on them (3 minutes per person + again 2 minutes after each break or sanitary stop), taking care of technical issues, taking phone calls ...
It was clearly too much for one person , but that person was also very unorganized. never asked anyone for "at what time are you shceduled". just called people randomly. this resulted in the person scheduled and arrived 15 minutes AFTER me (for same test) to actually start it an hour before me!. so poor guy had to wait 4 hours. and I was the second to last unluckiest person and could start the exam 1,5h after the schedule time, (almost 2hours after I arrived). and the last hour of waiting was after I was registered so no more phones or other distractions possible. (and no talking/laughing/crying with other people because you make noise for the ones actually takign their tests)

and bring your own drinks (in transparent bottle), they provide no water/coffee or anything whatsoever during the wait. (there is a coffee machine but it has not been cleaned/used in a while)

At some point I really expected a hidden camera team to pop up and say its a joke... but no

so if like me you think: its not too far and it saves me the hassle of an exam at home or aty the office where they take over your pc for a while.. think again!
